Henry Har
Overview
Henry Har has significant experience in public, nonprofit and project finance, focusing on deal structuring and management and document preparation as bond counsel, borrower’s counsel and disclosure counsel in a broad range of tax-exempt and taxable financings. Henry’s clients include public agencies and non-profit corporations.
His public finance experience includes: revenue bonds to finance water, wastewater, electric and transportation projects; certificates of participation and lease revenue bonds to finance general infrastructure projects; and tax allocation bonds, housing set-aside bonds and multifamily housing bonds to finance urban redevelopment and low-income housing projects. Henry has been involved in public offerings, Rule 144A and Regulation S offerings, and private placements. His experience extends to direct and conduit financings, fixed and variable rate securities, current and advance refundings, interest rate swaps and other derivative products, and credit and liquidity enhancement—including bond insurance, letters of credit, standby letters of credit, Federal Home Loan Bank letters of credit, HUD guaranties, Cal Mortgage loan insurance and standby bond purchase agreements.
Prior to joining Meyers Nave, Henry worked as a Senior Associate at Holland & Knight LLP in San Francisco. As a law student at New York University, Henry was a Staff Editor for the Review of Law & Social Change and interned with the Asian Law Caucus and the Juvenile Justice Project of Louisiana.
