Henry S. Hewitt
Overview
With over 40 years of experience, Henry Hewitt is an extremely accomplished attorney with success in all areas of labor and employment law, as well as substantial experience with eminent domain matters.
Henry's experience includes drafting and defending affirmative action programs for government entities, representing public agencies in civic rights defense, public entity liability, housing discrimination, and other employment-related matters. His eminent domain experience involves representing public entities in condemnation matters.
Henry also has extensive appellate experiences with cases in the California Court of Appeal, the Ninth Circuit, and the United States Supreme Court.
Henry started the law firm Erickson, Beasley & Hewitt in 1978, and practiced with the firm until he joined Meyers Nave in 2010.
From 1988 to 1992, Henry was an adjunct professor of law at the University of San Francisco Law School.
Henry has been named a “Super Lawyer” from 2004-2011.
