City of Dublin

Climate Action Plan

Meyers Nave attorneys assisted the City of Dublin in developing a Climate Action Plan, and the City became one of the first cities in Alameda County to adopt a Climate Action Plan in compliance with state and local air district requirements.

Our attorneys were helping the City develop a Climate Action Plan during a time when the applicable legal regulations were being developed.  The City wanted the Plan to be adopted in a tight timeframe to be able to use the Plan for the CEQA review for greenhouse gases for future land use projects.

While State and local air district regulations and guidance were evolving, Meyers Nave's team advised Dublin on the legal regulations and helped to keep the project moving forward.  As a result, the City not only became one of the first adopters of a Climate Action Plan in the County, but it also met the City's "green" goals and provides streamlined environmental review for future development projects under CEQA.
