Steven Farkas Joins Meyers Nave’s Energy, Land Use and Environmental Law Practice Groups
Meyers Nave proudly announces that Steven Farkas has joined the firm’s Los Angeles office as a Principal in the Land Use, Environmental Law, and Energy Practice Groups. Steve brings over 25 years of experience working in house on numerous energy and environmental issues and spent almost 20 years as the General Counsel of a refining and marketing company which owned several refineries and terminals and manufactured gasoline, diesel, jet fuel, specialty chemicals and asphalt products.
Steve’s transaction and regulatory experience includes land use entitlement and related project development, environmental law compliance programs and enforcement actions, asset sales and acquisitions, corporate insurance programs, and marketing and manufacturing agreements. He has worked on matters involving the U.S. Department of Justice, U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, Federal Trade Commission, California Attorney General’s office and most state and local environmental agencies.
