Juliet Vaughn
Overview
Juliet Vaughn is an Associate in Municipal and Special District Law practice group. She assists the firm’s municipal clients with matters such as land use and planning, environmental assessment, ordinance and contract drafting. Juliet’s areas of practice include planning and zoning law, CEQA, the Subdivision Map Act, development agreements, the Brown Act, and Joint Powers Authorities.
Juliet is a graduate of the University of California, Davis, School of Law. During her time at law school, Juliet held internships with the United States Environmental Protection Agency and the Stockton City Attorney’s Office. It was through her time interning in Stockton that Juliet developed an interest for working at the municipal level. Juliet also served as an Executive Editor for Environs, UC Davis Law’s Environmental Law and Policy Journal, and competed nationally in an environmental law moot court competition. In 2019, Juliet graduated from UC Davis with an Environmental Policy, Analysis, and Planning degree. While completing her undergraduate degree, Juliet worked for CalRecycle, helping to draft policies and regulations for organic waste collection.
