Terri Ann Kim
Terri Kim brings over two decades of experience to the firm’s Construction and Facilities Practice Group. Before joining the firm in 2014, Terri was a Principal at a construction, real property and complex litigation law firm in Oakland. While at this firm, Terri represented clients in both the public and private sectors on complex construction matters. She has experience with mediation, arbitration and litigation in construction phase and post-completion claims pertaining to delay, impact, workmanship, and defects. She has guided numerous national and international engineering and construction firms in complex claims resolution.
Terri has served as a legal counsel for the design and construction of significant projects, including a major toll road in Southern California, a water treatment plant in Northern California, and a maximum-security detention facility in Northern California. Outside California, she has advised on combined-cycle power plants in the Middle East and North America, a petrochemical plant in South America, and high-rise office complexes in Hawaii, among many other projects.
Terri has broad experience in complex construction case document handling and management. She has directed the capture of electronically stored information (ESI) and overseen the creation of document database systems using various software applications. Terri is admitted to practice in the Northern, Eastern, Central and Southern Districts of California, as well as the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals.
