Meyers Nave Principal Nancy Harris, Chair of the firm’s Commercial Litigation Practice Group, will share her experience and insights as a member of the panel discussing the topic of “Women in the Courtroom.” Nancy is an accomplished trial lawyer with nearly 20 years of experience helping individuals and companies resolve commercial disputes, unfair business practices and false advertising claims, governmental and regulatory compliance investigations, and related litigation.
The conference brings together women who are leading all sectors of the legal profession, including in-house law departments, law firms, and the judiciary, as well as women attorneys who are leading businesses and nonprofit organizations. The keynote speakers are Lily Yan Hughes, Senior Vice President, Chief Legal Officer and Corporate Secretary at Public Storage, and Tony West, Chief Legal Officer at Uber Technologies. They will discuss the General Counsel and the corporation’s role in working toward gender and race equality, including topics relating to leadership, the #MeToo movement, and the importance of building and sustaining a culture that promotes talented women and diverse individuals.
