James Casso Named Principal
Los Angeles, CA – Meyers Nave is pleased to announce that James (“Jamie”) Casso an attorney in the firm’s Los Angeles office and member of the firm’s Public Law Practice Group has been named a principal.
Since 2001, Casso has served as City Attorney and Redevelopment Agency Counsel to the City of La Puente. He also serves as general counsel to the Community Development Commission of the City of South El Monte and to the Water Replenishment District of Southern California. In addition, he served as City Attorney for the City of Pico Rivera (2001-2007). Prior to joining Meyers Nave, Casso served as the long-time Chief of Staff for former U.S. Congressman Esteban E. Torres and general corporate counsel for several Los Angeles based businesses. Casso is a graduate of Georgetown University (J.D., 1987) and the University of California at San Diego (B.A., 1981). He currently resides in West Covina.
