As the Director of Attorney Recruitment and Professional Development at Meyers Nave, Elsie's approach blends strategic insight with a strong commitment to fostering inclusive, high-performing legal teams that support the firm’s mission and its clients' success.

Elsie has held recruiting leadership roles at premier Am Law 100 law firms, where she managed lateral and campus recruitment, professional development initiatives, and inclusion-focused mentorship programs. Known for her collaborative style and forward-thinking strategies, she partners closely with firm leadership to align recruiting and attorney development with business goals, helping practice groups thrive. She oversees all facets of attorney onboarding and integration, including evaluation and support systems that promote growth.

With a background in law and psychology, Elsie brings a holistic perspective to talent management. She has a strong track record of cultivating meaningful relationships—within law firms, across law schools, and among industry professionals, that enrich the firm’s talent pipeline. Her experience also includes immigration law and legal recruiting for corporate clients, which informs her nuanced understanding of attorney career paths and professional aspirations.

Elsie earned her J.D. with a concentration in Business Law from the University of Minnesota Law School, where she received the Minnesota Justice Foundation Public Service Award and served in multiple leadership roles. She holds a B.A. in Psychology from Carleton College. A native of Minnesota, Elsie is fluent in Igbo (conversational in Spanish). She is deeply engaged in public service, including a current leadership role as a long-standing volunteer with Girls Inc. Her work reflects a lifelong passion for equity, empowerment, and community impact.
