Harry J. Moren
Harry J. Moren is Of Counsel in Meyers Nave’s Construction and Facilities Practice. His practice focuses on construction litigation arising out of public works.
Harry’s clients value him as an inclusive collaborator, skilled listener and effective advocate. His extensive litigation background includes complex commercial litigation, product liability, consumer class actions, intellectual property infringement claims, and policyholder-side insurance claims, in federal and state courts across the country.
Before joining Meyers Nave, Harry practiced in the complex litigation group at Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe.
Prior to becoming a lawyer, Harry worked as a software developer writing custom software for e-commerce platforms, enterprise management systems, and call center automation. Now, his legal clients value his technical fluency and analytical reasoning.
Harry currently serves as Chair of the Audit Committee of OneJustice, a nonprofit dedicated to increasing access to legal services for those in need, which he has served in various roles since 2015.
- Skanska-Shimmick-Herzog v. Santa Clara Valley Transportation Authority. Representing the Authority in its defense and cross-claims relating to delays and cost overruns on a $1 billion design-build project to extend the Bay Area Rapid Transit (BART) system into Silicon Valley.
- Flatiron Construction v. City of Oakland. Representing the City in its defense and cross-claims relating to a dispute arising from the construction of a bridge over the Embarcadero Channel.
- Pacific Western Bank v. City of Monterey. Representing the City in a dispute regarding retentions funds held in escrow.
